Ride For Kids Press Release: Nearly 200 motorcyclists gathered for the Northern California Ride for Kids over the weekend to support children battling brain tumors. As of ride time, the family-friendly motorcycle event in Fairfield, Calif., had raised $59,342 to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The event honored six local brain tumor survivors, our Ride for Kids Stars: Ashley, Avery, Elias, Evan, Jaylen and Vanessa. Dr. Samuel Ciricillo of the Sutter Neuroscience Institute: “I have really great news since the first time I came to speak at Ride for Kids 20 years ago,” he said. “We have made progress to the point that we can predict which kids are going to do great and which kids are going to be challenged. Kudos to Ride for Kids for all of your efforts and ongoing commitment.” The event is still collecting donations onlineHERE.
