The thing about a tourist destination like Las Vegas, is that everybody brought their cameras with them, even in the days before ubiquitous disposable cameras, cheap digital cameras, and now cellphone cameras. So there’s bound to be plenty of people all taking dozens or hundreds of photos all at the same time in roughly the same locations. To illustrate that point, rather than gather a bunch of photos showing one area in Las Vegas over a span of years as we did the last few days, let’s look at a bunch of Vintage Las Vegas photos all taken in June and July 1964, starting with the downtown scene above, then at the Flamingo, Sahara, Stardust, Riviera, and back to Fremont Street below.
