When it comes to crafting wooden bodies to replace the original steel, some cars work better than others. A Lincoln Zephyr or Chrysler Airflow might not take to such refurbishment well (prove me wrong with photos if you disagree), but a Ford Model T might be able to wear an all-dead-tree body well, as this 1917 Ford Model T for sale on Hemmings.com does. It’ll take some work to unfreeze the four-cylinder and get the truck running again, but that’s no insurmountable obstacle to enjoying the T. From the seller’s description:
A client of ours has asked us to help him sell his gorgeous 1917 Model T T truck that has been very well kept. The engine is all intact yet frozen. The owner has attempted to rebuild the engine but found the pistons are frozen to the cylinder due to lack of use and a little rust. Everything is in great condition except for the engine.
