Usually, photos of college campuses that appear in our carspotting series show overflowing parking lots, cars triple-parked and carving out parking spaces from thin air. However, these two photos of the University of Vermont courtesy the university’s Landscape Change Program, both taken sometimes in the 1950s (and both showing opposite views of the same scene), seem to indicate that parking was plentiful, if not a little bit scattered across the campus.
