The CBR500R, an affordable fuel-efficient sportbike powered by a silky smooth 471cc parallel-twin engine, has been the best-selling version of the trio of CB500s that Honda began selling in the US a few years ago. And for 2016, the Thailand-built CBR500R has received its first significant update, thanks to crisper, more aggressive styling with improved airflow, plus LED lights (front and rear) and a few other significant upgrades made clear in this video by Honda's Lee Edmunds, whom we interviewed recently at AIMExpo 2015 in Florida. The 2016 CBR500R, available in Red, Matte Black Metallic, or Pearl White, goes on sale early next year.
