Ride For Kids: Motorcyclists from Coast to Coast Ride to Support PBTF
Ride For Kids Press Release: Motorcyclists from Birmingham, Philadelphia and Puget Sound hit the road for children battling brain tumors during Ride for Kids events over the weekend. These family-friendly motorcycle events, held in Leeds, Ala., Phoenixville, Pa., Carnation, Wash., raised more than $150,000 to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s lifesaving research and life-changing family support programs. The events honored 14 local brain tumor survivors, our Ride for Kids Stars: Athea, Allison, Andrew, Baleigh, Elizabeth, Emily, Judah, Karissa, Kim, Maggie, Matt, Olivia, Skyler and Zach. “This is the best day of my year, every year!” Philadelphia Star Athea told motorcyclists. “Something in our lives has brought us all here today in this place to fight brain cancer and I think that’s really unique and special, and we’re all family, no matter what happens! It means a lot that you are here.”
