Back by popular demand! Your favorite Honda dealership in Austin is looking for your help with our second Design-a-Tote-Bag contest! We love our previous winner’s design by Nancy Keetch and it’s time to update our tote bags for 2016.
Before we order a new batch of tote bags, we want your help designing them. We know that Austin is full of creative individuals and our Howdy Honda community is no exception, which is why we fully trust your artistic abilities to help us out.
We are looking for a design that represents Austin and fits with the Howdy Honda brand. Be as original and amazing as you want, the only requirement we have is that you include our logo (we’ve made available below two versions of our logo) and our website address (www.howdyhonda.com), and that the design is not a picture.
This is how the contest will work:
Submit your design as a JPG or PNG to avillegas@howdyhonda.com before midnight October 17th. After that, we will post an album/voting link on Facebook and Twitter with the submissions and our fans will vote on their favorite design. The artwork with the most votes will be the chosen tote bag design! The artist with the winning design must be able to send a final high resolution version to avillegas@howdyhonda.com in EPS format, 600dpi, and 7”tall by 12”wide.
What is the prize for the winner?
– Full design credits on the bag.
– Another prize to be announced!
What should you include in your email?
– Your original design as a JPG or PNG, no greater than 2MB (save a copy!)
– Full name
– Phone number so we can reach you in case that you are the winner.
– Date of birth

Here are the other guidelines and rules: (PLEASE READ)
– The design must incorporate our logo and howdyhonda.com. No pictures will be allowed. You should use programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to construct your design.
– The Howdy Honda logo can be the original blue, white, black or gray.
– The first artwork must be submitted as a JPG or PNG via email to iclaudio@howdyhonda.com before midnight April 15, 2012.
– The final artwork selected must be submitted via email to iclaudio@howdyhonda.com as an EPS file, 600dpi, and 7”tall by 12”wide.
– There is no limit as to how many designs you can submit and you can promote your work as much as you want.
– There is no fee to enter the contest.
– The artwork has to be original in concept, design and execution and can not be in violation of any U.S. copyright laws.
– All entries must meet the specified criteria.
– Entries that meet the requirements, will be put to public voting on Howdy Honda’s Facebook page/voting link. Voting deadline to be determined.
– Howdy Honda will have exclusive rights to the chosen design to use on howdyhonda.com and any promotional materials. The artist may use the design in his personal portfolio, but may not use it for any commercial purposes.
– Howdy Honda reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their sole discretion.
– Make sure your entry information is active and valid as this is the only means of contacting you if you win.
