Kia Releases Next Generation Sportage Sketches
Sure they don’t have have opposing thumbs, but the Kia hamsters have picked up their pencils and returned to the drawing board, sketching out designs that could take the form of the next-generation Kia Sportage. This will be the fourth-generation of the Sportage which will be debuting next month, but the Seoul-based company is giving us a sneak peak, as Kia releases next-generation Sportage sketches.
The sketch of the Sportage above looks more like a caricature right now and almost seems to more closely resemble a dramatized version of the Porsche Cayenne, rather than the current generation Kia Sportage. Some details do seem more than slightly overdone and obscure, but compared to some of the spy photos that recently were captured, things seem to make sense and piece together nicely.

Kia has scheduled the Sportage to make its first debut on September 15th at the Frankfurt Motor Show; it only seems fitting that the debut take place here, seeing as these sketches were created by the Kia European design center.
Take a look at the front view of the Sportage sketch; the swept back, LED headlights give the Sportage an all-new, narrowed expression. Kia’s CUV is taking on a bolder style, even its body is being given new form, with the slender sides and arched back/roof-line. Inside of the Kia Sportage, we can expect an upgraded interior, one with higher-quality materials that dress up the look and feel of the cabin.
