The town fathers of Superior, Wisconsin, didn’t seem to skimp in trying to draw visitors and tourists downtown, what with the free parking, the flags from various countries strung from the lightpoles, and the overall festive atmosphere they gave the lakeside town’s Tower Avenue. And it appeared to work, from what we can see in this postcard photo of Superior sometime in the Sixties, which we came across on the AmeriCar the Beautiful Facebook page. What do you see here?
