In some ways, handling a police car in hot pursuit is similar to handling a race car on a track, as this circa 1974 Sid Davis police training film shows. In other ways, it’s a lot similar to fishtailing on snow-covered roads. Who knew my youthful shenanigans on rural Central Ohio roads would have made me so well prepared to chase down baddies on the streets of L.A.!
