The stars were out in broad daylight, as one of the most prestigious cars in American history was celebrated from July 21-25 during the national meet at the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum in Buffalo, New York, where these highly distinguished motorcars were produced for their entire existence. More than 50 of Pierce-Arrow’s finest were on display, as police blocked off Seneca Street for several blocks so that hundreds of appreciative onlookers could wander among these prestigious luxury cars.
John Walsh brought his 1910 Pierce Arrow from Hudson, Massachusetts.
This 1931 33 club sedan belongs to Dianne Gallets of Long Valley, New Jersey.
Now in its 58th year, the event featured Pierce-Arrows of many vintages, and all conditions, were exhibited during the show. Among them were the last Brunn-bodied (a Buffalo-based coachbuilder) Pierce-Arrow town car ever built and a rare Silver Arrow coupe.
