Vath Upgrades the Power of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class

There’s a good reason why Mercedes-Benz did not make AMG versions of its vans. One of them is the models of the range are not what many may consider tuning material. That did not stop Vath from tinkering with it though.

Recently, the tuner introduced a new tuning kit for the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The particular model that benefits the package is the V250 CDI variant of the range. The product offers a boost to the engine of the van and provides it a slight styling update.

Engine Output

Under the hood, Vath imbued the diesel-powered engine of the V-Class that was originally configured to deliver 187 hp and 440 Nm of torque with an additional 37 hp and 60 Nm of torque. That puts its overall output to 224 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine upgrade can be availed for 1,011.50 euros.

Other Add-Ons

Buyers can also improve the comfort and performance features of the V-Class through the lowering springs offered by the tuning firm. These will put the base of the vehicle closer to the ground by 25 mm. The cost of the whole set is 566.20 euros.

In addition, the specialist provides optional customized side skirts costing 629 Euros as well as new 20-inch wheels fitted with 265/30 R20 wheels for an extra 2,975 Euros.

Summing up the numbers, customers who want to get the complete package of Vath for the latest V-Class should prepare to spend 5,181.70 euros.
