The Fabulous Bargain Fair in this photo we snagged from Jim and Chester’s Garage may or may not have been in Mentor, Ohio – why include the city and state of the establishment on the sign out front, after all? – but it’s probably close enough, and we didn’t come across any other mention of a Fabulous Bargain Fair or of a Karnival of Val-Yoos in northeast Ohio, so to Mentor we go today. What sorts of cars were these cheapskates bargain hunters driving?
