If you haven’t seen any MotoAmerica roadrace action this year, here’s a 2-minute highlight reel that will show you how just competitive it is in the Superbike class. Josh Hayes won this Superbike Race 1 at the 2.38-mile Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, but only after his teammate, Cameron Beaubier, took a nasty spill on lap 8. And from there on, Hayes had to battle Yoshimura Suzuki’s Roger Hayden, who finished 2nd. Third-place finisher, impressively, was Jake Gagne, on a Superstock 1000-spec Yamaha YZF-R1. As always, there’s more information, including full results, at www.motoamerica.com Round six of the 2015 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North America Road Racing Championship takes place June 26-28 at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
