
Endurocross Media Press Release: The 2015 X Games will take place in Austin, Texas June 4th to June 7th. The awesome Circuit of The America’s will host the X Games for the second time and will include Enduro X competition on Friday, June 5th. The Enduro X is scheduled to air on ESPN on Friday evening along with the Skateboard Big Air competition. Check your local listings for air times. The Men’s Enduro X field will include 24 riders headlined by 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Champion Cody Webb and current 2015 points leader, Colton Haaker. FMF KTM’s Taylor Robert, a former Enduro X Gold Medal winner, will be back in action after recovering from a broken wrist. And Mike Brown, another former Enduro X Gold Medal winner, will also be gunning for another gold. In the Women’s Enduro X, Kacy Martinez will be looking to defend her gold medal earned at the 2014 Austin X Games. But she will face stiff competition from 12 other female riders including multi time gold medal winner Maria Forsberg, who is coming out of semi-retirement to compete. Spain’s Laia Sanz and Sandra Gomez will be threats along with Great Britain’s Emma Bristow. And Canada’s Lexi Pechout, the 2014 Women’s GEICO EnduroCross Champion will be looking for her first X Games medal. “The 2015 X Games will feature an exciting mix of two wheel competition in 2015 including Enduro X, Step Up, Speed and Style, Best Whip, and for the first time ever, a Quarter Pipe Freestyle competition and Flat Track.” said Eric Peronnard, the Motorcycle Sports Organizer for X Games. “This will be an exciting four days of motorcycle competition showcased in front of a huge audience onsite and via all of the ESPN networks.”
