An amazing performance for Mattias Ekström at Lydden Hill, round four of the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship. The Swedish driver narrowly missed the race victory Audi S1 quattro.
It was a hard and fought final with difficult track and weather conditions. Mattias Ekström finished the 6-lap final in second place right behind Petter Solberg. The two drivers gave the fans on site and around the world a thrilling last lap battle for the outright victory.
Earlier in the first semi final, Robin Larsson finished the race in sixth place. The 2014 FIA European Rallycross champion pushed hard but was not enough to reach the final.
