If the Father Christmas of the list contains the names of billions of children, the Ford list it, will only 100 lucky only this year because it is the number of units of the highly anticipated Shelby GT350 2016 that will come out of Ford plant. However, if this is the model that interests you, do you still lucky since the GT350R version will be produced only 37 copies which will be unveiled during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Shelby competition.

It’s a bit like the Ford GT will be produced 250 copies per year of production.

A Family Story

Ford not only designs cars to replace previous models. That is why we must go back to the late 60s to understand the rationale of the Shelby GT350 2016. As regards the version of GT350R more specifically, the number of units produced refers to two prototypes and 35 production models created in in the 60s.

Yet Unknown Performance

Even if it’s coming, the arrival of the Shelby GT350 2016 is still a mystery mechanically. The only thing we really know is that sports the American manufacturer will be powered by a V8 naturally aspirated 5.2-liter, at least 520 horsepower and 500 foot-pounds of torque.
