We all use our smartphones more often than we’d like to admit, but let’s face it: Typing on a full-sized keyboard will always be easier to do than on a handheld device.
So when it comes to searching for Google Maps directions, now you can research commute routes ahead of time, then push the directions straight to your mobile phone when you’re ready to go.
All you have to do is type “Send directions” from the Google search bar, pick the location you want and send to a connected Android phone.
A few weeks ago, the company also added the ability for you to look up your lost Android device, so it seems it is working to make its homepage more than just a search tool, but also a command center.
