Context is everything for our carspotting photos, which is why we try to pinpoint an exact date and location for them all, whenever possible. Knowing when and where a photo was taken helps determine, for example, the relative ages of the cars on the road in different parts of the country or how cars and roads cause alterations to cityscapes. We spent quite a while trying to pinpoint the exact location of the Canadian Pacific terminal in Nanaimo, British Columbia, as depicted by this postcard photo that reader Roger Hawthorne alerted us to, but to no avail. Can anybody help us out with an exact location? And if not, what do you see here?
