Facebook launched its standalone Web-based Messenger service only a few hours ago, and it’s already down.
The instant messaging service has been unavailable for about three hours now. Most reports of the outage are coming from users in the EU and the US, as Messenger.com is English-only at present.
We’ve contacted Facebook to find out more and will update this post when we hear back.
