Harley-Davidson, through its official importer NAZA Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd, has launched the all-new Street 750 – the latest model to join the Dark Custom lineup. The entry-level cruiser sits on Harley’s first all-new platform in 15 years and is their first lightweight bike since the 1974 Sprint.

As the name suggests, the Street 750 gets the Revolution X engine – a liquid-cooled, single overhead cam V-twin motor that displaces 749cc. It produces 56 hp at 8,000 rpm and 59 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, propelling this 222 kg Harley from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and through a six-speed transmission.
Harley-Davidson specifically said the Street 750 is a cruiser designed and developed to suit the younger pool of motorcycling enthusiasts. It’s suitable for riding in urban environments and boasts easy manoeuvrability and quick acceleration. The front tyre (100/80 R17; rear tyre 140/75 R15) is noticeably slim; pair that to the wide handlebar and you’ll get a Harley-Davidson that will happily tango around city gridlocks.
A pair of matte black, seven-spoke cast aluminium wheels with machined rim highlights are fitted as standard, and both wheels get a 2-piston caliper. Fuel tank is 13.1 litres large, and on paper the bike consumes 5.74 litres per 100 km.
The blue Harleys you see here is also the Street 750, but it has been customised according to its new owner’s preference. Harley-Davidson Kuala Lumpur said the cruiser serves as a blank canvas for riders to customise to their heart’s content. This includes the paint job, wheel design, seating material – just about anything that has to do with looks.
The Street 750 carries a price tag of RM62,888 including GST, and it comes with a two-year factory warranty and three-year or 80,000 km extended warranty programme, whichever occurs first. It can be had in three colours - Vivid Black, Black Denim and Fire Red.
