YAMAHA will relinquish its incipient 125cc scooter Soul GT – featuring a high-performance compact engine developed predicated on the next-generation development concept BLUE CORE – in Indonesia this month, the company verbalized in a verbalization.
This model is the third Indonesian model to feature the BLUE CORE engine after the Mio125 and NMAX as Yamaha seeks a more sizably voluminous footprint in the prodigious Indonesian two-wheeler market.
The GT was developed with the concept “The No.1 Stand-out Scooter on the Streets”, inheriting the same product direction as the current “Soul GT” model (115cc) pristinely relinquished in 2012, which has been popular for its sharp and distinctive single headlight.
Building on the current model, the GT is given further refinements to its design as well as an incrementation in engine displacement to 125cc.
Manufacturing and sales are being undertaken by Indonesian group company PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing.
Main features include snappy expedition, a spacious on-board feel and spirited riding performance, bold body design and wide tires (Front: 80mm/Rear: 100mm), uniquely edgy design, and a LED headlight, the first on a 125cc class Yamaha scooter.
The rudimentary frame and engine of the incipient model utilizes the prevalent platform which was first featured in the Mio125, launched in December 2014.
