Reader Rich Harris has an interesting trove of photos. Found in a rusted-shut cabinet drawer of a house about to be demolished, the anonymous photos depict a variety of subjects, including a number of street scenes in and around Rochester, New York, that Rich thought we’d enjoy poring over. Would we ever. We’ll start with the above and below photos, showing the intersection of Clinton Avenue North and Main Street East, looking west, taken sometime in the mid-1950s. What do you see here?
