Honda Bulldog Concept Revealed

Honda presented a new utilitarian-looking concept model called the Bulldog at the 2015 Osaka Motorcycle Show. Built on a 399cc parallel-Twin, the Bulldog was created with the theme “Lovable Touring Partner” in mind.

With its wide, 15-inch knobby wheels, protective bars and cargo mounting points, Honda envisions the Bulldog as a suitable camping-touring machine capable of traversing in urban and rural areas.

The Bulldog is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel-Twin engine that appears to be borrowed from the 500 series models like the CB500F (or to be more accurate, like the Japanese market versions which only displace 399cc). The frame also looks to be similar to that on the 500 chassis.

The light blue bars behind the passenger seat and above the headlight look capable of carrying some cargo but if more luggage room is needed, the sides of the fuel tank actually open up to reveal additional storage space (check out the video below to see the Bulldog with the storage lids open).

Other features include a low 27.7-inch seat height, a six-speed transmission, rectangular turn signals and a high side-mounted exhaust.
