* Over the last 85 years, Pinin Farina (later Pininfarina) has built plenty of noteworthy cars. As this week’s story from Petrolicious noted, it’s a monumental task to sift through that history to pick even the 50 best Pininfarina cars, but it’s a task Paolo Pininfarina, grandson of the company founder, seems ready to take on.
* Speaking of Pinin Farina, Curbside Classic this week re-ran an older post of theirs that took a quick look at the PF-bodied Volkswagen Beetle from 1952.
* Reader Barney Ward sent us this CBC article about the return of the Scat Rat, a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass that was stolen from Bob Heroux’s shop, stripped, and left to rot in a field. Bob has since pieced it back together, though, and plans to return to the dragstrip with it this summer.
