Tips for using Ford SYNC in the 2015 Ford F-150
The 2015 Ford F-150 is one of the most talked-about vehicles of the new model year, mostly because of its innovative construction and exciting new features. However, with any new vehicle, it can be difficult to figure out some of the new features, especially if you haven’t seen or used them before! Ford SYNC is one of the greatest assets of any Ford vehicle, but we know that it can be confusing to use and set up if you’re not familiar with the system. That’s why we wanted to come up with a few basic tips for using Ford SYNC in the 2015 Ford F-150, one of the most popular vehicles in the Pittsburgh area.
The first of our tips for using Ford SYNC in the 2015 Ford F-150 is to make sure your Bluetooth connection is on on your smartphone. SYNC works with a wireless connection, such as from a smartphone or tablet, and if the Bluetooth connection isn’t on, SYNC will not be able to detect the wireless device, and it will not work.
After you have verified that your Bluetooth connection is enabled on your smartphone or tablet, you need to pair your phone and the SYNC system. To do that, press the button on the SYNC system that has a phone on it. After you press that, SYNC should prompt you to check your smartphone for a PIN number. When you see that, it will ask you to enter that into the SYNC system to pair the two.
SYNC should basically talk you through how to pair the two devices once you a have them both turned on and the Bluetooth connection enabled.
SYNC is an incredibly advanced piece of technology that provides drivers with the ability to remain connected at all times, not just when they are near an Internet connection. SYNC provides turn-by-turn navigation, it can place and answer phone calls, it can read incoming text messages and it can even warn you about upcoming traffic hazards and obstructions!
