Lexus teamed up with Funny or Die! to create a new ad video poking fun at the BMW i3. Lexus uses their CT200h hybrid car to showcase the benefits of owning a hybrid over a fully electric vehicle.
To make things even more interesting, they use “Dad’chelor party” as an excuse for some friends to head over to Vegas for a proper bash.
As expected, the video pokes fun at the shorter driving range of an electric vehicle compared to a hybrid, as well as the infrastructure challenges in more remote or rural areas.
Of cours, the BMW i3 REx is not being mentioned in the skit.
