Forget the Batmobile, Check Out Wolverine’s Kia Sorento

Kia X-Car The vehicle that comes to mind when you think of superheroes is likely the iconic Batmobile with it's long list of gadgets used to defeat the bad guys, but the Caped Crusader isn't the only one with a slick set of wheels these days. Wolverine's now got his own custom Kia Sorento and the thing even has claws. Technically, this is an X-Men Days of Future Past Kia Sorento called the Kia X-Car and it was inspired by an as yet unnamed character, but who are they trying to kid? There are clearly two sets of wicked adamantium claws curving up from underneath the car's front end and another set curving up over the tailgate. That last set looks the coolest, coming right up past the glass, but it does make you wonder how exactly you'd open the tailgate without shredding yourself and your groceries. The final dead giveaways are the ragged rips in the iconic "X" that adorns each side of the Sorento. Yup, this thing is absolutely Wolverine's new ride, although knowing him, he'll have it trashed within a week while saving the world from great peril. Kia X-Car Rear The car was created to promote the release of X-Men: Days of Future Past on DVD and Blu-ray and will debut at the Australian Open 2015 with the help of tennis star Rafael Nadal who is an official Kia ambassador. Leading up to that big debut, Kia is inviting fans to vote on which character they think was the inspiration for the car and giving away free loot if they guess correctly. The character choices are Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto, or Storm but if you vote anyone other than Wolverine, then you clearly know absolutely nothing about the X-Men and simply do not deserve to win. One winner per day will get a copy of the X-Men: Days of Future Past movie as a reward for guessing the obvious. Kia X-Car Profile The car's debut will include a video that will be on Kia's Facebook page and YouTube channel in the middle of December. It will have Nadal jumping into the X-Car to help the X-Men defeat the Sentinels who are now threatening the Australian Open. The tennis must be saved! After the official unveiling, the Kia X-Car will be on display at Melbourne Park from January 19th through February 1st throughout the tournament. It will then leave Australia and you'll be able to catch it on tour as it hits the various auto shows.
