The limited edition Nissan Patrol Titanium is now available in Australia, boosting the bush-bashing credentials of the iconic off-roader.
The Patrol Titanium claims to add more than $12,500 in equipment and extra features over the Y61 (previous-generation) Patrol ST diesel on which it’s based.
The package includes a steel bulbar, alloy three-quarter roof rack, snorkel, electric winch, driving lights, smoked bonnet protector, towbar kit, spare wheel cover, moulded rubber floor mats, satellite navigation, reverse-view camera, and a Titanium edition key ring.
An annual subscription to Nissan Patrol ambassador Pat Callinan’s 4×4 Adventures Magazine is also included as part of the pack.
The Nissan Patrol Titanium is capped at 300 units, with the six-speed manual priced from $57,990 driveaway and the four-speed automatic from $60,990 driveaway.
The Y61 Nissan Patrol is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo diesel engine that produces 118kW and 354Nm teamed with the auto gearbox and 380Nm with the manual.
Nissan will be hoping the Titanium special edition gives Patrol sales a shot in the arm. Sales of the Japanese 4×4 are down 26.5 per cent this year to 1349.
