The Splendor Pro Classic is India’s first 100 cc cafe racer and the Passion Pro TR gets off-pavement riding capacity.
In an attempt to take advantage of the festive season and hit its target of 6 lakh unit sales in 40 days, Hero Motocorp has introduced the Hero Splendor Pro Classic and Hero Passion Pro TR across India.
Hero Splendor Pro Classic
The Hero Passion Pro Classic gets cafe racer styling.
The Splendor Pro Classic is claimed to be the country’s first 100 cc cafe racer. Showcased at the Auto Expo and subsequently at the Nepal Auto Show (NADA), the vintage style commuter gets a single seat, cafe racer cowl instead of a pillion seat, sporty handlebar, circular head- and tail-lights, and a circular instrument pod.
The front and rear mud guards, circular rear view mirrors and rear suspension caps are finished in chrome.
Power comes from the regular Splendor Pro’s 100 cc air-cooled engine which is mated to a four-speed gearbox. However, the Splendor Pro classic develops a marginally higher power output of 8.24 bhp (8.36 PS) as against the Splendor Pro’s 7.69 bhp (7.8 PS). The torque output remains at 8.05 Nm.
The Splendor Pro Classic is priced at INR 48,650 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in Solid Maroon and Carbon Black color options.
Hero Passion Pro TR
The Passion Pro TR gets off-roading equipment.
The “off-pavement” Passion Pro TR was also showcased at the Auto Expo and NADA Auto Show. The new bike features off-road fixtures like a raised front mudguard, headlamp protector grille, crossbar on the handlebar, knee pads on the tank, knuckle guards, bash plate and special tyre tread.
The 100 cc air-cooled engine produces 7.7 bhp and 8 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The color options available are Electric Red, Sports Red & Black with Sports Red.

The Passion Pro TR is priced at INR 51,550 (ex-showroom Delhi).
