TSS: B-Quik Racing Audi R8 LMS debut at Sepang

The Thailand Super Series held its opening round at Sepang in Malaysia this weekend. It was the scene for the debut of an Audi in this Thailand based racing series.

B-Quik Racing debuted their newly acquired Audi R8 LMS this weekend. The #26 entry was driven by Henk Kiks in the Class 2 - GTM class for older FIA GT3 specification race cars.

He qualified sixteenth overall and finished the first race by placing tenth in the GTM class, nineteenth overall. The second and final TSS race of the weekend was held on Sunday and unfortunately Kiks retired from the race.

Round two will be held at Bira, 5-6 July.

TSS: BQRacing testing Audi R8 LMS at Sepang

The Sepang circuit in Malaysia saw the BQRacing team conducting their first track tests of their newly acquired Audi R8 LMS. The car was still in its "Audi ultra" livery from the Audi R8 LMS Cup and it will soon be receiving its new yellow B-Quik livery.

The team is currently preparing for a two-car entry in the 2014 Thailand Super Series. BQRacing acquired their first Audi R8 LMS Cup car a few weeks ago and they also announced that they will be upping their team to two cars for the 2014 season.

The Thailand Super Series (TSS) has a number of very potent GT3 race cars competing in the series and Audi R8 LMS cars will be debuting on the grid this season.

The team’s two cars will be driven by Khun Prantarit Nerngchamnong, alongside team leader, Khun Henk J. Kiks. They will be competing in Super Car Class 2-GTM.

The yellow livery designs of the #22 and #26 Audi R8 LMS cars from BQRacing have also been revealed in recent weeks (pictured above and below).

The 2014 Thailand Super Series gets underway at Sepang in Malaysia, 10-11 May.

BQRacing will be entering two Audi R8 LMS cars in the 2014 Thailand Super Series.

BQRacing acquired their first Audi R8 LMS Cup car a few weeks ago and they will now be upping their team to two cars for the 2014 season.

BQRacing has acquired one of the Audi R8 LMS Cup cars and they will be entering it in the 2014 Thailand Super Series.

The Thailand Super Series (TSS) has a number of very potent GT3 race cars competing in the series and an Audi R8 LMS will be debuting on the grid this season. The BQRacing R8 LMS is the “Audi Ultra Team” car that was used by Cheng Cong Fu and Andre Couto in the 2014 Audi R8 LMS Cup.
