Star Nissan Sponsors Guitars Over Guns Golf Outing

On Friday, September 14th, Star Nissan sponsored Guitars Over Guns 2nd Annual Jimmy Ranoha Memorial Golf Tournament at Pine Meadow Golf Club. The event was the personal mission of longtime Guitars Over Guns friend Jimmy Ranoha, who was planning the 1st annual tournament when he passed away suddenly in 2016. The tournament was followed up by dinner, a concert & afterparty.

Guitars Over Guns is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers students from disadvantaged backgrounds a powerful combination of music education and mentorship with professional musicians to help them overcome hardship, find their voice and reach their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. Guitars Over Guns creates safe spaces for youth to express themselves through music and empowers them to make positive choices at school, at home and in their communities. Star Nissan is proud to support an organization that has served over 2,700 students since 2008.
