LG G7 ThinQ appears in render, five colors available

LG’s upcoming flagship, the G7 ThinQ, has made an appearance in a new render from Android Headlines that lines up with previous design rumors. The design of the phone takes cues from its predecessors, adopting the typical slab design. Of note, however, is the display notch, which has been corroborated by previous leaks. Though the G7 ThinQ features a display notch, LG recently took to Reddit seeking feedback from Android users on the sudden prevalence of notches. It could be that LG removes the notch in its 2019 flagship.

The G7 ThinQ will feature dual rear cameras, likely with regular and wide-angle lenses, though this year’s camera setup is aligned vertically rather than horizontally. There is also a fingerprint scanner, and the power button has been moved to the right side of the device. On the left side of the device is the volume rocker and a fourth button that is rumored to activate LG’s AI assistant software, which was introduced with the V30S ThinQ.

Five colors will be available, including Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matte), and Raspberry Rose. Though the render isn’t completely clear, it appears that the rear of the device will be made of glass, as was the case with the G6. It should also be noted that LG has removed the “G” branding from the rear of the device, signaling a shift from past flagships that have emphasized their place in the G-series.

LG is expected to launch the G7 ThinQ in late April or early May. Stay tuned for more updates!
