German tuning company Hofele-Design just unveiled its new project using the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400 as a base. The SUV benefited from more stylish exterior parts as well as a more luxurious interior.
According to the press release of Hofele, their project involving the standard Mercedes-Benz GLS 400 takes inspiration from the aggressive styling of AMG. Then it is combined with an interior based on the opulent elements found within a Maybach vehicle.
Exterior
The front bumper of the Hofele GLS 400 appears similar to the one fitted on a Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. However, the tuning specialist cleared out that it is an entirely new product. They have crafted the bumper to fit snugly with the non-AMG models of the GLS.
The AMG-inspired treatment goes all the way to the fenders, rear valance and exhausts of the SUV. Carbon fiber components highlight the revisions in the auto, giving it both a sporty and elegant look.
After that, Hofele topped it all off with their signature set of FINA Y-Design 10 J x 22 alloy wheels, custom radiator grille and their logo.
Interior
Going inside the GLS 400 with the Hofele package will reveal a quilted Nappa leather with perforated design. Diamond stitching adorn the leather linings of the SUV’s panels and seat surfaces. The specialist said that buyers can choose the kind of Nappa leather to be used in their rides.
Overall, the cabin of the upgraded GLS 400 has detailing at par with Maybach and will even remind customers of the interior of Bentley and Rolls Royce cars.
