New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Compact SUV
After showing off the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Special Edition last month at the Chicago Auto Show, the brand is once again making waves. This time at the Geneva International Motor Show, the all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Compact SUV makes its big debut.
The all-new Eclipse Cross joins the compact SUV coupe segment, offering a versatile drive for everyday driving. With it functional build and performance, the Eclipse Cross will be a great option for families and commuters alike who are looking for some extra space, without taking up too much of it.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Performance Specs
For its US model, the Eclipse Cross will feature a 1.5-liter direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine paired to a new CVT 8-speed Sport Mode manual override transmission. The Eclipse will also use an electronically-controlled 4WD system to offer the optimal amount of torque to it rear wheels, depending on your driving situation and the condition of the road.
It will also feature a 3-point strut tower brace at the front and structural bonding at the rear for increased body rigidity. This tougher body build create more precise handling and superior stability for the Eclipse Cross.

Interior Tech in the Eclipse Cross
In addition to its impressive drive, the new Eclipse Cross will offer the latest in interior technology. The model shown off at the Geneva Motor Show was fitted with the Smartphone Link Display Audio System, a Touchpad Controller and Head Up Display. These features allow the driver to access different types of information easily and safer than through their smartphone.
With its smartphone integration capability, drivers are able to safely access certain apps and services including in-car navigation, traffic conditions, receiving calls, access to text messages, listen to music and more.
