Samsung Galaxy J3 V now available for Verizon

In the early part of May, Verizon launched the 2016 Galaxy J3, but only for its prepaid customers. For anyone wants a relatively cheap entry point to Android 6.0.1 and is a postpaid Verizon subscriber, there’s a new variant to choose from.

Verizon and Samsung have officially launched the J3 V, which is set with a retail price of $168.00. Customers can choose to get it on a two-year contract, too, for only $39.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate is sent in. If you choose to go with a monthly installment plan, that’ll be $0 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $7.00.

The specs of both the Galaxy J3 (2016) and the Galaxy J3 V are similar. You’ll get a 5-inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED display, with a microSD card slot, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, and it’s running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The Galaxy J3 V features 16GB of built-in storage.
