
There’s a snippet of HTML in the website for the developer preview that suggests more devices are coming to the program, including from OEM partners. That heavily implies that you’d be able to install the preview program on a non-Nexus phone you might own.
This is all very preliminary stuff, so don’t expect Android N on your Galaxy S7 tomorrow. And if I had to guess, you’re probably only going to see it on devices from OEMs like Sony and HTC that have historically tried to keep devices updated quickly and were more open to stock Android experiences. There’s always a chance that Samsung could jump on board, but if I was a betting man, my money would be on tons of other manufacturers ahead of Samsung.
