We’ve seen this parking lot outside of Urey Hall at the University of California San Diego once before, in another Charles Graves photo from the UCSD Digital Collections. The question is: Was the photo taken the same day, just from a different angle? To determine that, let’s compare the cars in the parking lot in this shot to the cars in the previously used shot and try to figure out whether some people are just habitual in exactly where they park or if indeed Graves scampered from ground level to rooftop to catch both photos.
