Honda Ridgeline 2016: The American Dream

We already have probably already told you that we should not reinvent the wheel, but it’s still what Honda has tried to do with its first generation Ridgeline whose popularity has certainly surpassed the expectations of the brand. But it is not with a single configuration, a short box and an engine that is no longer in the game for at least 5 years since the Honda Ridgeline 2016 ensures a future. That is why the Japanese manufacturer has finally decided to get serious with its next-generation minivan.

So far, the only thing that Honda had unveiled its Ridgeline us in 2016, it was a simple image, leaving only see very few details, except that the overall shape of the truck seemed rounded. This is the case since the Japanese manufacturer has just unveiled a picture that speaks volumes regarding the next-generation Honda Ridgeline 2016.

A Strange Combination

If Honda seems to comply on the aesthetics of its future truck, the fact remains that his mechanics will be most unusual. Several rumors circulate about the new V-TEC turbocharged 4-cylinder engine which Honda is working. There would be very likely that this mechanism is found under the hood of the Honda Ridgeline 2016. There is also talk about an automatic 9 reports what is “normal” in the niche. However, Honda believes offer its basic truck with a front – wheel drive rather than rear-wheel drive.

Forget it!

This will not be the part regarding the next generation of Honda Ridgeline is a good old V8. You see, Honda does not offer such mechanical base and American trucks already overflowing with options to segment. However, no large American truck offers 4-cylinder engine, which could allow Honda to distinguish the lot. Also, I highly doubt that Honda offers his truck version 2 doors since the success of the Honda Ridgeline 2016 is largely based on its versatility and therefore its 4 doors.

If you are interested in this truck, know that it will debut at the upcoming New York International Auto Show to be held next April. It only remains trimmer Honda reveals more detail about his new truck by then.
