Another 104 claims have been added to the pile for examination by Kenneth Feinberg and his staff, who are overseeing the victim compensation fund established by General Motors as a result of the February 2014 ignition switch recall.

Reuters reports total claims number 2,430, which include 260 for deaths linked to the recall, 172 for catastrophic injuries, and 1,998 for less-severe injuries.

Claims eligible for payout remain unchanged, totalling 100: 42 fatality, seven catastrophic, 51 less-severe.

Three hundred six claims were found ineligible for payout per Feinberg’s office, while 692 were under review, 568 lacked sufficient documentation, and 764 were submitted with no documentation.
