Lexus has recently revived its plans to introduce the brand to India, where the luxury car market is booming due to a growing economy.
The brand has been looking to enter the Indian market since 2007, but halted plans in 2012 due to high import taxes and a slow automotive market.
Cars imported to India can be taxed up to 160%, but despite the high duty, Lexus has no plans to produce vehicles locally.
